8/23/25 Bakesale!

August 23, 2025: A huge thank you to St. James Episcopal Church in Flushing for hosting our very first fundraiser! Thanks to everyone's support, we raised over $200 by selling a variety of baked goods (special shoutout to Maia Leung for being our baker).

Fundraisers like this one are a big part of how we're able to fund the robotics kits, textbooks, and other STEM resources we donate throughout the year. Every bake sale, no matter how small, adds up to real opportunities for students in underserved communities.

STEMWorks Youth is entirely student-led, which means every fundraiser we run is planned and staffed by high schoolers who care about making STEM more accessible. Bake sales are a simple way for us to raise funds while also introducing our organization to people in the community.

We're so grateful to everyone who came out, and we're excited to keep building on this experience with more opportunities like this in the future!
